Steam cauliflower florets in the microwave by placing them in a microwave-safe dish with a few tablespoons of water. Cover loosely to allow the steam to escape, and microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until cauliflower is tender. Alternatively, you can steam the cauliflower florets in a steamer for 10-15 minutes.
