Ingredients

  • ½ avocado ripe
  • 5 oz tuna canned, drained
  • ¼ cup celery chopped
  • 1 tbsp red onion chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp cilantro chopped (optional)
  • tsp salt
  • 1 pinch pepper or to taste
  • 2 slices bread whole grain

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mash the avocado with a fork.

  • Add the drained tuna, celery, red onion, lemon juice, cilantro (if using), salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Lay out the two slices of whole grain bread and spread the tuna avocado mixture evenly on one slice of bread.
