Easy Creamy Tzatziki Sauce

This homemade Tzatziki sauce is creamy, refreshing, and perfect as a dip or sauce. Better yet, it is super easy and quick to prepare and bursting with fresh flavours.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cucumber grated
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp dill fresh, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • tsp pepper ground

Instructions

  • Using a cheese grater, grate the cucumber into thin strips. Option to place the grated cucumber in a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth and squeeze out excess liquid. Set aside.

  • In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
