FAQ
- Can I make these ahead of time? Prepare the fruit and herb mixture in advance, but add the soda water just before serving to keep it fizzy.
- Can I use sparkling mineral water instead of soda water? Yes. Either works well, though mineral water may have a slightly different taste depending on its mineral content.
- Do I need a muddler? No. The back of a wooden spoon works well to gently crush the fruit and herbs.
- Are these drinks suitable for diabetes-conscious eating? They may fit a diabetes-conscious eating pattern because they contain no added sugar and use only small amounts of fresh fruit for flavour.
- Can I make these sweeter? Yes. Add a few more berries or a non-nutritive sweetener if desired, keeping in mind that additional fruit will increase the natural sugar content.
