2 sweet potatoes, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper
  • Spread the rounds evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and tender.
  • Serve warm as a savoury side dish or snack.

Cooking Tips

  • Uniform Slicing: Ensure all slices are 1/4-inch thick for even cooking. A mandoline slicer can make this easier.
  • Spice Variations: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or swap paprika for smoked paprika for a deeper flavour.
  • Crispier Texture: Roast the slices for an additional 5 minutes for extra crispness, keeping an eye to prevent burning.
  • Serving Suggestions: Pair with a dollop of Greek yogurt or a drizzle of tahini for a creamy contrast.
