Ingredients
- salmon 12 oz
- garlic (minced) 4 cloves
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- lemon (juice from 1 lemon) 1
- lemon zest 1 tsp
- paprika ½ tsp
- parsley (chopped) 1 tbsp
- salt ¼ tsp
- pepper ¼ tsp
- red chili flakes (optional) ¼ tsp

Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 400F.
- Place salmon on a baking sheet skin side down.12 oz (340 ⅕ g) salmon
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.4 cloves (4) garlic, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 lemon, 1 tsp lemon zest, ½ tsp paprika, 1 tbsp parsley, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper
- Drizzle the lemon garlic mixture over salmon filets and place in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- If you prefer the salmon to be more browned on top, you can broil it for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the salmon with an extra squeeze of lemon, chopped parsley, and chili flakes, if desired.¼ tsp red chili flakes
- Enjoy with your choice of veggies and high-fiber carbohydrates such as quinoa, barley, or sweet potato.
